  1. As good as the Pleasant Valley JV team was last year no one should be shocked by their varsity team this year. Enterprise may have graduated their best team ever last year. Sutter’s loss to Palma was a loss to a consistently good (and often great) program. PV looks like the team to beat in the CIF Northern Section this year. (That’s a tough admission from a Paradise fan.)
